MS Beaches Walk-a-thon is Underway!

The MS Beaches Walk-a-thon provides an opportunity for the beaches community to come together for a 3K walk or run along the boardwalk while raising money for MS. On September 12th at 9:30 am we will meet at the RC Harris Water Filtration Plant (easternmost point of the beach - near Neville Park) to begin our walk together. At the end of your 3K journey enjoy a BBQ, refreshments and raffle prizes with friends and family!

Each participant is asked to fundraise a minimum of $100 to take part in the walk. For every $10 raised over the minimum, you will receive a ballot for your chance to win one of our raffle prizes including a one year membership to the Royal Botanical Gardens! Register before August 27th and get a free MS t-shirt and wrist band! (Wrist bands will also be on sale after the walk). All money raised with this event will go to the MS Society of Canada to support research and those living with MS.

Music For MS Benefit Concert

This October my team and I will be heading to Tanzania to climb Africa's tallest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro, in order to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis research. A portion of the funds raised will also be shared with the Ilkurot Primary School to educate the poorest of the poor children of the Masai Tribe.

This concert is just one of many fundraising events helping us reach our goal of raising $1 Million.
